What clipping actually is
A brand sets up a campaign with source footage and a few guidelines: what the clip needs, what it must avoid, and which platform it can go on. You cut a short video from that, post it on your own account and paste the link into your dashboard. From that moment we count the views.
It differs from ordinary influencer marketing in three ways. You do not need a big account, you do not negotiate a rate, and you are paid for the reach you get rather than for posting.
What you earn
Every campaign has a fixed rate per 1,000 views. It is shown on the campaign before you join, so you always know where you stand. In practice that rate is usually between € 0.80 and € 2.00.
The maths is simple: at € 1.20 per 1,000 views, a clip with 50,000 views earns € 60. At 200,000 views that is € 240.
There is a ceiling on what one clip can earn: a quarter of the part of the budget set aside for clippers, with a floor of € 25 and a cap of € 2,500. That is not there to limit you but to stop one viral clip from consuming the whole budget while everyone else has already posted. Without it, they would have worked for nothing.
- The rate per 1,000 views is fixed once the campaign is live.
- The campaign budget is a hard ceiling: when it runs out, counting stops.
- Views after the campaign end date do not count.
- Only views that pass our checks are paid out.
What you need to start
A free Clipfabriek account and at least one connected social account. That is all. There is no follower minimum, no waiting list and no subscription.
You can connect TikTok and YouTube. Some campaigns ask for one specific platform; that campaign then tells you which account to connect and where to do it.
- An email address, or your Google account.
- A TikTok or YouTube account in your own name.
- A bank account, but only once you want to withdraw.
Why you have to connect your socials
Because that is how we count the views on your clip. Without the connection we cannot measure what your clip does, and so we cannot pay you for it. You connect once and it then works for every campaign.
We only ask for read access to the numbers on your own videos. We cannot post, change or delete anything, and you can remove the connection at any time.
How it works here, step by step
From signing up to money in your account is five steps, and we do half of them.
- Create a free account. An email address is enough.
- Connect your TikTok or YouTube. Once, and never again.
- Pick a campaign. You immediately see what you earn per 1,000 views and what the guidelines are.
- Post your clip on your own account and paste the link into your dashboard.
- We measure, verify and settle every night. What you earned is in your wallet the next morning.
What is not allowed
Every clip is reviewed before counting starts, and checked for fake views afterwards. Views that fail those checks are not paid, and repeat offenders can be barred.
That sounds strict and it is, but it is the reason brands are willing to put budget here. Without those checks a brand pays for reach that does not exist, and then there is no campaign left to join six months from now.
- No bought views, bots or view-exchange groups.
- No clips that ignore the campaign guidelines.
- No footage other than what the brand provides.
